2006年成立，五位男生組成的Modern Children暫時來說的彈藥就只有Myspace上的四首demo。我明白的，好的東西都只會嫌少不嫌多，你嫌少也大概只可能是因為習慣了香港樂壇一年必定要交出十來首作品一兩張專輯的影響罷。那如果你嫌香港主流的音樂欠缺創意是罐頭是差勁，那我們便不應嫌這四首demo少了。

四首作品風格各異，而選取《Home》播放只因其易入口而且短少精桿，適合衝衝忙忙的香港人口味。喜歡用不同的音樂單位作reference來介紹的「香港樂評人」，按照傳統我也要用幾個名字來穿鑿附會，像Andrew Bird 的【Armchair Apocrypha】碰上Yann Tiersen或是瑞典新貴Detektivbyrån，異國情趣碰上whistle與Celesta帶來的童趣稚氣，幾分清澀…

好了，還是用自己耳朵聽最實際。Modern Children 其實只是一隊創作平易近人而動聽indie pop 樂團，留一點時間，不妨聽聽，你才會發現原來你忽略了這班香港男孩的聲音。
