本地樂隊Modern Children經過逾兩年的籌備，終告發表樂隊首張同名大碟《Modern Children》。最為特別的是，Modern Children大膽起用流動聆聽的方式，推出很可能是首個iPhone Apps大碟，閣下只需憑iPhone按幾個鍵，便能輕而易舉聽到全碟，甚至看到樂隊介紹、最新動向、iPhone小樂器，構成一個多
元，具互動性的唱片。Modern Children為了將音樂傳遞至更遠，更將Apps大碟無料放送，概念明顯比許多樂隊行前幾步。

轉戰國外演出反應良好 始推出首張大碟

Modern Children原裝陣容成Kenneth、Chih、Tony、Jimmy及ST，及後ST主力個人發展離隊，先後加入威哥及Winnie，確立了現時的隊型。威哥主力二胡及鍵盤的部分，而Winnie則以小提琴手身份效力Noughts & Exes、False Alarm、Candy
Darling多支本地樂隊，無疑令Modern Children增添多元性。而樂隊成員本身熟知多樣樂器，不難見到成員在現場演出時交換樂器演奏的有趣情景。值得一提的是，Modern Children懂得配合歌曲加添玩樂元素，攜同玩具當成樂器相間奏起可愛聲效。

Modern Children近年不乏海外演出機會，喜歡Sigur Ros、Broken Social Scene、Arcade Fire、Belle & Sebastian等大編制樂隊的他們，音樂會順利著陸於日本、新加坡、中國多個城市，在當地的音樂及文化節目中獻聲。經過海外演出、為
the pancakes作伴奏樂隊等經驗增值後，Modern Children將發表首張作品集。

iPhone Apps唱片開展嶄新聆聽方式

Modern Children的成員大都依靠上網聯繫，成員也是iPhone迷，故有製作iPhoneApps的念頭。當唱片灌錄完工後，便順理成章邀請主音Kenneth的弟弟嘗試製作iPhone Apps，結果令人相當滿意。Apps大碟除了十首歌曲完全免費任聽外，更有一個可以把玩的玩具響鈴遊戲，讓大家一同玩樂。而樂隊推出iPhone Apps大碟，是為了鋪排2012年1月14日Modern Children首個大型音樂會。屆時樂隊會完整演奏大碟中的所有曲目，絕對成為2012年音樂圈新浪潮第一波。
