近兩年香港indie界終於重燃生機，一大堆新bands出碟之餘，現場演出亦越見越多，各自都取得一定fan base，前路一片光明。其中一隊小休再復出的Chochukmo(觸執毛)便是經常聽到的名字。

一行五人的Chochukmo在首張大碟【The King Lost His Pink】取得不錯成績後，積極巡迴演出後，Chochukmo終於將新碟單曲《Good Night》製作成MV。

充斥著funky guitar riff的《Good Night》讓我想起的是竟然是台灣的Tizzy Bac。我的意思是，除了funky的感覺外，那種各聲軌上的清晰，音色的清及靚，那種製作上的成熟，都讓我想起Tizzy Bac。首張專輯中我們已知道Chochukmo喜歡玩歌曲中的變奏，這支《Good Night》亦一樣，由初段的快到慢到急到最後的慢，這支單曲想像到是一支很anthemic的歌曲，現場演出一定會令全場極度亢奮起舞的作品。

對我來說，Chochukmo不是屬於很前衛又甚至乎稱得上實驗，喜歡《Good Night》是因為整體目標的明確︰這是一首很搶耳很pop的作品。同時Chochukmo亦很懂得怎樣去做自己的branding，簡單美學的MV加上他們頗為典型的「潮童」hipsters look，再唱著「Baby don’t you realise / There is nothing to be compromised」的標準indie 妥協態度，一睇就知咩葫蘆賣咩藥，支持。

題外話，hipster look也有分地區，點解由The Yours到Chocukmo的造型感覺都咁貼近北京獨立樂隊的hipsters裝？我第一聯想是刺猬。
