陳潔儀在宣傳香港個唱，在蘋果訪問中談及之前參加中國大陸歌唱節目《我是歌手》。她表示當初一直不想參加，解䆁

陳潔儀又喺報道再次解釋當初一直唔想參加《我是歌手》，成日以夾唔到檔期嚟推job，更直言「唔通話唔鬼上你個節目咩」，點知一次有個台灣做宣傳嘅老朋友問佢為咩冇去內地發展，稱參加一次可以少上一百個節目，由於陳潔儀好怕宣傳，又知嚟緊會搞個唱，所以佢覺得「好抵」先參加咗。

陳潔儀稱上大陸歌唱節目只因其人氣及有宣傳效果，參加後自己可減少出席其他宣傳活動。

此外，嚟緊6月喺會展開騷，入行廿幾年，一直唔多見陳潔儀去大陸市場發展，唔係佢喺大陸冇market，而係佢早就覺得大陸市場唔太適合佢，今日有周刊同陳潔儀做咗個訪問，佢就話自己一直冇去大陸，因為唔想勉強自己去做，亦認為大陸人未必喜歡佢嘅唱tone，佢只係覺得時機到佢先會去發展。唔知佢之後仲會唔會返內地再賺人仔呢!?
