將於8月15至16日舉行的【香港夏日流行音樂節】透露最新詳情，香港歌手包括楊千嬅、莫文蔚、劉美君、容祖兒、何韻詩、草蜢；台灣則有五月天及張惠妹。
特別環節包括由阿姐汪明荃領軍，陳松伶、鄭欣宜、小肥、周柏豪和吳浩康演唱電視劇主題曲。兄弟班許志安、張衛健、梁漢文和蘇永康則會預演紅館騷，首度在台上表演「兄弟棟篤笑」。
流行音樂節搞手「演出業協會(香港)有限公司」主席陳淑芬表示希望「Rap出香港文化」，而向米高積遜致敬是構思之一，但未作最後決定。
